Small white church made into a digital painting from a 35mm color slide taken in 1977.
The weak winter sun lights up the water droplets on the bare limbs of this River Birch.
Another version of the November 13 “Path of Promises” image and post.
The path that never seems to end…
Same photo as last post but in black and white.
This digital painting was made from a picture I took a few days ago after a light snow. The seed heads of some wild flowers had little “caps” of snow on them.
The water reflects the final colors of the fall season.
Sailing on a crisp Fall day
We had a lovely fall this season. Looks like winter is arriving early though.
The original digital image of this had large barren trees limbs blocking the right side. Under normal circumstances it would have been tossed. But, it was too good to be wasted. I decided to make it a digital painting and remove the tree limbs with post processing software. I used Aperture and Photoshop. I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?
The Oak Tree holds onto it leaves longer than most. Sometimes an early snow will highlight their beauty.
Double the beauty!
Little White Church
This church set along one of the routes I used to commute back and forth to work. Each day I saw it, it was beautiful. No matter what season. I took a regular slide photo of it nearly 40 years ago. This image is a digital processed painting I did recently from that image.
Just the place for a nice brown trout to hide. Catch em and let em go.
